A Message from a Member of Executive Board

Dear Friends and Colleagues,
Despite all the difficulties it brought, the COVID pandemic showed us how the globe has been interconnected. In a grotesque way, it stresses the importance and necessity of the global, transnational, and world history approach to our past. I do hope the 2022 AAWH meeting in India would be remembered as a landmark to embody world history and global citizenship here in Asia, where we have been fighting the pandemic of national histories.
