About AAWH
Asian Association of World Historians (AAWH) was established on 4 May 2008 at Nankai University in Tianjin as an international scholarly association serving the Asia-Pacific and the wider world. Its headquarters were initially located at Osaka University, Japan. The current president of AAWH is Professor Liu Hong of Nanyang Technological University Singapore.
AAWH aims to promote the study of Asia’s historical and contemporary transformations from global and transnational perspectives, to foster collaboration among historians and scholars in related fields, and to narrow cross-national gaps in understandings of global history through scholarly public initiatives.
AAWH maintains an extensive academic network across Asia and beyond, organizes regular international conferences, and publishes the journal Asian Review of World History. AAWH welcomes individual scholars and institutions engaged in global, world, and transregional history and related areas. Members receive updates on development in the field and participate in the Association’s conferences, workshops and other academic activities.
关于亚洲世界史学会
亚洲世界史学会（Asian Association of World Historians, 简称AAWH）于2008年5月4日在中国天津南开大学成立，是一个面向亚太与全球的国际学术共同体。学会总部设于日本大阪大学，现任会长为新加坡南洋理工大学刘宏教授。
学会以全球与跨国视角理解亚洲的历史演进与当代转型为宗旨，致力于推动历史学与相关学科间的跨领域合作，促进世界史/全球史的研究与教学的深度融合，并通过学术与公共项目，缩小不同国家和地区在全球史认知上的差距。
学会建立了覆盖亚洲及更广区域的学术网络，定期举办大型国际学术会议，并出版学术期刊Asian Review of World History，力求为全球史与“全球亚洲”研究提供重要学术平台。学会欢迎从事全球史、世界史与跨区域历史等相关研究领域的个人与机构加入，会员可持续获取学术动态信息，并参与学会组织的各类国际学术交流与研究活动。
